Verbier, perched at 1,500 m on the slopes of the 4 Vallées, is the world capital of freeride skiing with the legendary faces of Mont-Fort. The area shared with Nendaz and Thyon offers 410 km of pistes.
The route
The route follows the A9 motorway to Martigny, then the Val de Bagnes road via Le Châble. About 1h50 from Geneva in normal conditions, sometimes longer on Saturdays in high season.
When to book
Ideal for ski seasons from December to April, freeride weeks, the Verbier Xtreme in March, or a transfer to Le Châble station to catch the funicular.
